What did you do to your tank(s) today?

I was going to make a bitter comment about doing two exercises in frustration/futility today. I scraped diatoms off my plants, and I pulled for my team. Both tend to be very frustrating. However, I learned a lesson. My team surprised everyone and won. So I need to have a more positive attitude towards the diatoms. I'll beat that eventually as well.

That's looking like a sweet setup. What will you use to diffuse/react CO2?
I plan to use a DIY Yugang but may use an inline diffuser in the near term if I don't get moving. I'm trying to design 3D printed end caps for the acrylic tube that will allow me to adjust the reactor for this 25g tank and the 16g tank that will be going next to it.

What size is your acrylic tube? Could always make a pvc one that isn't adjustable then circle back to the adjustable acrylic.

It's a fairly cheap build with all but one part (in my case) available at big box hardware store.
Yeah, I have parts to make a basic reactor. I just like to tinker.

Prep work before I start the next Journal. I've finally decided on the vision of the scape. Lots of Dragon stone in those tubs but no driftwood. Any guesses?
What size is the tank? Looks like about a 60cm.
I'm excited to see the journal. Let us know how the APT Feast works out. Maybe you can add your insight to @Sb1415 's post. I'm not re-doing my tank anytime soon, but I already have the Feast bought. Seems like a good deal for the 3 bags on Amazon and who knows if tariffs might affect it sometime.

It's a Waterbox Clear Mini 25. 60X40X40

No just too little experience converting advertised GPH to actual functional flow 🙄 🙄

1st pump AC, too noisy + minimally adjustable ..
2nd way too powerful DC at even lowest setting..
3rd DC still too high flow ..

4th DC seems to have hit the sweet spot 🤞🤞

Visited one of our 2 LFSs in town that stocks freshwater items. Bought 2 Panda Garra and 3 Amano Shrimp along with a TC cup of Hydrocotyle triparta "mini". Some of the Hydrocotyle for the 60S, with the rest for a Wabi-Kusa experiment.

I really do want to support this place, but it's difficult. The dry goods selection just plain sucks. They have a large selection of fish in a tiny shop. The fish look good, healthy, and active. They carry a limited selection of UNS, Aquarium Co-op, along with the standards, Fluval, and Marineland. The staff is great, polite, helpful, and friendly. The shop was busy too, a good sign considering the Columbus Area Fish Enthusiasts (CAFE) was holding their Fall Auction, and the OSU football thing was going on too. Fall Saturdays during game time are usually the best time to shop.
