Magnetic stirrers for dosing bottles

Hi all, I’m wondering if many use magnetic stirrers on their dosing pump containers to prevent concentrated mixes from precipitating or growing mold etc?
I am looking at the Chihiros ones, as I have their dosing containers, does anyone have one in use they can share a review on?
Or any other brands worth looking at?

Depending on how compact your space is, you can also just park the bottle of micros on a generic stir plate



put it on a smart plug to run for a few minutes a couple times a day

I've used two of the chihiros stirrers, they work well and sync with the existing dosing setup. But like Koan said, for 1/4th the cost you can also find a cheap stir bar/plate combo online and set up with a timer.

FWIW once I started making my own fert mixes, I stopped running into precipitation issues, particularly micros. There's a micro mixing order that can prevent any precipitation, so you don't need mixing plates to get even dosing.

I use a magnetic stirrer for my pool chemical tests. The chihiros is slick looking but frankly you can buy much cheaper ones They are very basic devices. Drop the magnet stirrer in the container, turn on the base and it stirs. Not much to them.

I have one. It works fine, and it’s convenient because it can stir 4 containers at once. I have it for ferts going to 3 tanks. I wouldn’t have wanted to buy one per tank though.

That’s for the BiOrb, and it works fine.

Thanks all, my plan is to run Burr micros, then use the remaining 3 heads for N, P & K separately.
I was DIYing micros but want to lower maintenance jobs, and micros are more fiddly than the others.
So micros are the only ones requiring the stirring?

His Comp-Le requires stirring. I’ve seen posts that say the micros need it too, but the directions don’t say that and I don’t do it.

Actually, the directions for all of his packages say this: "It's normal to have a very fine cloud of visible particulates. This is the reason to shake before each use."

How do you plan to access Burr Micros in Aus? To simulate the contents?
I only run Rexolin APN but that's because it was the main one I could find and the only micro solution from the vendor where I get my ferts (greenaquarium.com.au)
