Im 2 weeks away, from going overseas for a month, and preparing tanks as I get closer. Hopefully to minimise any issues when I get back, and make it simpler for the "Fishsitter".
After some reading here, quite a few threads actually , but there is one in particular, which I don't recall offhand, discussing the increase of CO2, earlier in the day(light) cycle, and even with poor surface agitation etc, a quicker ramp up and offgas, was better. A few days ago on FB, Tom Barr also mentioned "Ficks Law". You guys will know the post im sure, probably not explaining it too well.
SO, anyway, yes my flow is not the best, surface agitation not so great, and often have not the cleanest surface, Hence lots of googling new Lillypipes

which landed me on Aliexpress, see ZRDR, Aquapro. these will have to wait until I get back...
I have removed all the fish, just a few shrimp in the co2 tanks.
In the meantime I have brought forward my Co2 2 1/2 hours, seems to be working. With a good outside shake, to get a degassed state my Ph drop is around 1.4, going by the Api colour chart.
Today was a WC and a weekly dosing, APT 1. (which is a little under, per the dosing calculator)
I will get the "fish sitter" to continue the once a week Fert dose, there won't be water changes its too difficult with the tanks being in rack, requires pumping in and out.
So hoping the extra Co2, will compensate for the continued dosing, without water changes. No fish, just a few Shrimp in the tanks.
The largest of the Medaka Fry, I moved into the Cube, with the others.
I am bit nervous what I will come home to,

Reading posts here has gotten me pretty inspired, will look at changing and trying some new things when I get back.
