And here I thought a school of true Wanamensis was my bucket list fish!

Wherever did you find them? Did you spawn from eggs?

🥰🥰 Stunning 😁
You can find them. Having been in the hobby for decades, I have a lot of contacts in the Rainbow fish world.

If I am looking for something I send out some inquiries and can usually be pointed in the right direction. Those came from a breeder who has been breeding Picta for a long time.

Keep in mind that what you are seeing is the fish in full display mode, as he is sparring with another Picta. If people have not seen Rainbow fish spar it's quite a site. They turn on a color display that looks almost fluorescent.

So for this picture I was just lucky to catch him in all his glory.

I would have expected your next big purchase to be an OxyGuard CO2 Meter. You could then rent it out to the rest of us. ;)

Going through a midlife crisis and eyeing this meter like...

Finally have all the plumbing done on the Goldie Extravaganza … tomorrow, when my son can come over, I will turn on the pumps and see if it all works. I need someone upstairs and someone downstairs to turn valves and make sure nothing floods.
I’ve never had a sump before (or and RDF) and having it in the crawlspace has it’s challenges. I am both nervous and excited!

Midlife? OK kiddo  .

We're all rooting for you to make the right decision. You know, unless you're some really obnoxious jerk billionaire (not mentioning anyone in particular) they don't bury you with your money. Enjoy it while you got it and let us enjoy it to by renting it out to us to dial in our tanks (I have a hard time seeing that pink test solution). Just make sure you have the shipping insured to cover everything. ;)

P.S. Keep saving for retirement though. Healthcare is freaking expensive when you're old.

I switched out the lily pipes on the 75 gallon and did maintenance on that and 2 other tanks.

Mainly I just wanted to share that my husband has been putting off making an appointment for a medical procedure since November. Finally last night, I told him if he didn’t get it done today then I was going to buy another aquarium. Well, he made that appointment today and 4 more that I didn’t know he needed, lol! 😂

Some of you may remember that when I found mold in the bathroom, it was because I was looking for my daughter’s snake. That was at the end of August, so 5 months ago. Well, today I found him! He’s looks just fine, but now he’s fast and not too happy to be found. I couldn’t catch him, and he went inside the water heater. No idea how to get him out of there, or if it’s a safe place for him. At least I know exactly where he is.

Wonder what he's been eating for 5 months?

My son had a pet tarantula that escaped. It was about 3 inches from leg to leg. A year and half later when we moved found it living healthy under the couch. About twice the size as before. No wonder the cat hated the couch :ROFLMAO: On hindsite there were no bugs or other spiders ever.
