Journal 120 Dutch Ft. Yugang Reactor (Horizontal CO2 Reactor)

I was thinking to move the larger sword chunk to where the first 53b is. But I would need something closer left towards the street. Which is a bit of an issue in and of itself. Should I move the Natans left along with the Limno moving left?

I can definitely drop the Penny back left, I just don’t have anything else bushy. I have Myrio Foxtail and Hydro Angustifolia, but that’s about it. What would you recommend back left?

Id keep the sword in the exact 1/3 spot, it may need adjusting a little now, and just a single big one. Could scoot the natans left, would give more separation from the red sword too. The 53b could work back left. Its really serving no purpose where its at

This is the fun part. Plants are growing well and you have plenty of them. Now its just playing with colors and angles and shapes. Try an idea and see how it looks, some work, some dont

Truth! Thank you for the suggestions! I really want the 53b in the scape, freaking love this plant and fell in love with it from one of your AGA tanks.
Its a really great dutch plant. One big leaf green is always good and its the smallest most well-behaved plant that fits the bill

Could use the limno far left and the 53b in that spot

@Burr740
Do you think the 2 streets are creating a boxed in/island look?

The problem is they mirror each other exactly in size, shape and placement. This is the type of symmetry you want to avoidIMG_0287.webp

Man, that Nymphea micrantha is stunning. Is it a lot more of a pain than green tiger lotus? How do they compare? I have been considering picking up one or the other.

Beautiful layout!
I think it’s a bit more picky and I think it doesn’t like the amount of flow in this tank.

I'm struggling with some Tulunadensis. I heard it likes a clean substrate - how often do you gravel vac?
Never really. I just did a hover over vacuuming on Tuesday. This substrate is pretty new though.

@Unexpected that tank is looking clean and healthy! Congrats! I'm so jealous of you guys that can house rainbowfish.
Thank you Art. Looking forward to watching you get your tank back on track. There should be some good learning opportunities while I follow along.
