There is no doubt that some FB groups have very knowledgeable and dedicated teams and members, and they are actively helping the hobby. However, since everyone knows that Facebook content is short lived, there’s less effort put into its quality, and even respected hobbyists sometimes post half-truths or worse.
Let's hope so, and the more people help to figure this out the better it will be for the hobby. I am also really happy to see UKAPS recover, as it would have been a significant loss if they had not made it.I think there will be a slow return to forums. However, forums must evolve to take on some of the benefits that social media has that forums don't.
