Sucks, he was a big one.I’m sorry. Always a bummer when you lose one![]()
It’s a blue neon. My boys have been getting big. I’m angry over this because he was so big. What M. variety is that? It looks like Neon but it’s HUGE
I’ve had them about 5 years.Wow. The neons I have are 1/4 of that size, I wonder if there’s different varietals of the neon
Yeah, the Furcata or the Natans is on the chopping block. I changed a lot on Monday and I have 6 new plants coming in this week. I’m also going to try and make the Tulu wider and bigger. I’m not sure where to use the Ludwigia Palusteris green (actually more yellow), it might be on the chopping block too. I’ll have my wife snap a picture when she gets up.View attachment 4839
A lot of red in this section. Could use some spacing out, or replacing with other colors

Agree. I’m going to use the lotus for the focus. Waiting on it to grow.I definitely think it looks better, it’s not drawing your focus completely to one section of the tank.
The palustris is there just to grow. Was the only open spot to place it. Didn’t even notice I moved a plant dead centerThat spacing is better but now you have pretty stark symmetry between the ludwigia palustris on the left, the ludwigia natans on the right, and the samolus parvifloris in the center. Getting rid of one of the ludwigia and moving the samolus parvifloris off center would help IMO

I use it as partitions in my sump, works great very sturdy and holds its shape. I’ve had it since 2020 and looks and feels the same way it did when I bought it. Lots of options of what to do with it and the seller is awesome and knowledgeable.
