Wow! Amazing how tap can be so different across the country.
Although my pH starts off high, it degasses to something more reasonable. The Aqua Soil then makes quick work of it bringing it down to the 6s. My CO2 brings it into the 4s with about a 1.6 pH drop.
I only use stems so soft water is a requirement for me.
