I tried topping it and letting the stems split, but I didn’t like the look. Now I just do basically the same, pull it all out and replant about 4 inches of the tops, being sure to “shuck” the bottom inch first.

M. Roriama finally adjusted to this tanks conditions.

Though the bylxa japonica is still a bit of a question mark. Itll probably have to be swapped with something else.

Well we are a bit overdue for an update for this tank. It is kinda crazy to think that this journey started 2 years ago...
Considering it has been 2 months since the last update, I am very happy with the growth.

Layout feels close but the myriophyllum in the front is going to have to be replaced by something, possibly moving a single nymphoides taiwan over here and then putting something else on the other side. I am also going to add moss walls to this tank. I will start getting that together this week.

Bylxa japonica and limnophila wilsonii, never took off in this tank and so I decided to remove it. I think i am going to add to the foreground, a red plant and mini hairgrass. The acmella repens needs to be a tighter group in the back left. Plus i think moving the taiwan lily will help its case.
