Help Congo tetras

How do you get Congo tetras to color up?

I bought 6 males, might get females once they're in stock. Their colors are definitely here but duller than what I see online. I feed them a mix of pellets and frozen bloodworms. The tank is about 90 gallons.

How old are they? They won’t get full color until they’ve matured.

Not sure, but they look nearly as big as those on the pictures. The fins aren't as flowy-flowy though. I guess I need to wait then.

Introducing females increase their colors? Or is it a myth like for rainbowfish?

I’m not sure, because I had females in my school.

3 weeks. They don't look stressed, they are with smaller south American tetras and SAEs.
