I've had several brands of CO2 check valves (push-to-connect type) fail over time. I see there are several "high-end" brands of check valves (UNS and GLA to name a couple) but I am hesitant to pay that high of price for something so simple. Anyone have recommendations for inexpensive check valves that hold up? Or any experience with the higher priced valves?

Have you thought about regular barb-style check valves? I haven't had them fail in CO2 tubing
Yeah, I have a metal barbed valve that hasn't failed so I'll probably just stick wth those. Only issue is that with barbed connections, if redoing things, the tubing needs to be cut since it's both hard to get off and is stretched. Push-to-connect are just easier, but of course, I'm just being really picky.

Definitely had bad experiences with Amazon versions.

So far these have been bulletproof 👍

I'll try those. I was reading reviews and some say they failed quickly but someone mentioned that one on their saltwater line failed but one only passing fresh water worked fine. They reached out to BRS and BRS confirmed they are intended for freshwater use only. Funny that BRS would sell them and not mention that little fact. 😂

Reading the reviews, all of the negative ones were using the check valve with Kalkwasser; it's no wonder they failed.

Which check valve are you currently using?
