Well, I'm tankless at the moment due to circumstances so will post a few of my last ones. Nothing near the masterpieces of others but I try.

Had a Dutch-inspired a few years ago when I was trying different techniques. This one had a sump and I ran carbon to minimize water changes.

Then I moved to an apartment so I changed it up with a more fitting UNS 90 with more traditional equipment. I first wanted to go traditional aquascape with stone.

Then I said, forget it. I like the stems too much! Ended up with a Dutch-inspired, wabi sabi combination.

Thinking about what's next for me.

Yes, it was bold. Actually, pretty easy decision - “that’s the only spot my wife was OK with me using.” In an apartment, space was at a premium.

It’s a sunset sun. It was challenging. I proved to myself that setting it to get any sun does cause algae issues. But, I really did like how it looked with the sunset in the background.

That’s the 46th floor looking West from downtown Miami.

It is stunning..

I could never do it… I have a general distaste for being enclosed in elevators dependent on electricity. I much prefer stairs and doors I can open myself. A general distaste for the technological traps we have built for ourselves.. a felt need for trees and forests.

I live a mile from city hall in a town of 40,000, in a 6 unit apartment in front of one of the three main streets in town and yet a hundred feet from my bedroom,(on the first floor mind you) there is 100 acres or so of forrest with a babbling brook, possum, fox deer, raccoons…

Truth be told I would be happier in a single family dwelling unit with lower population density…
