Say hi to Mr. Barr for us. I've got a tub of his El Jefe stone on the shelf waiting for a scape.
He is smart that stone is everywhere in the foothills of northern Ca.
I looked on the web page and it still has info for 2025. I didn't look much. Do you have any other info for it? I keep wanting to go to that. In the past when I've gone to such things, no "influencers" I wanted to meet were there. When I didn't go, everyone from around the globe showed up.

EDIT: Never mind, I found some info. Doesn't really say who's going to show up there. Where did you see about the ADA workshop?
Hit schedule the website has it for 2026 . Luca Gallaraga will be there doing a demo and Ada has a workshop Sunday. Check Aquascaping Ryno out on IG as well.

Im going to be in Dallas the weekend after, missed it by that much.
Wow.... ADA must be feeling the burn of competition. They've never done so much promotion.
The ADA table here just makes you drool, but it's so expensive.
I thought maybe I'd rather go to Chicago but, I'm on vacation for that one.
The Dallas date is soon, so it might be a bit tough to do, but I may try to swing it.
Thanks for the info.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure he gets the stone and Manzanita wood in the same places. A couple shops in California sell it online which is where I got it. @Jeff Miotke did some gathering with him and has used it for a bunch of his scapes which is where I learned about it.

I'd completely forgot to keep an eye on Aquashella announcements. I need to look at that today and see if Dallas or Chicago work out for me.
Would be great to meet up with some of you and thank you all for your journals which helped me evolve my processes far beyond what I could pull from youtube or instagram etc.

David Chow's aquascaping demonstration just finished a bit ago.
My east coast brain is used to going to bed around 9, and it is now 2am east coast time.
So I'm going to leave you with this aquascape from the Aqua Forest sales table. I'll post more tomorrow.
I need sleep.
