True limnophila aromatica?

I'm wondering if a plant I got from Aquarium Plants Factory is true limnophila aromatica (i.e. not hippuridoides) and what to expect from it.

I got several stems of emersed limnophila aromatica and the transitioned growth has started coming in, but I've been surprised that leaves are broader than I expected, fewer than I expected, and no trace of any pink/purple/red hues on the undersides. The leaves might be narrowing out a bit with this latest generation budding now. Is it possible the leaves are still mid-transition and will change more, or I possibly just got a very yellow-green variant?

Looks like the emersed form still. Fun fact, it's an edible herb commonly found in Southeast Asian cuisine.

Yeah, this is kind of what I thought... still looks a lot like the emersed growth. If that's the case, it's interesting because I've never had another plant grow this much underwater without switching forms pretty quickly.

From what I have seen, Limnophila aromatica comes in a very large variety of forms and colors. Part of this problem is that species naming is not specific to a certain varietal/form of the plant. In the same way dogs are all the same species (or humans for that matter), but different groups can have very distinct color/growth forms. Limnophila aromatica can be more greenish/yellowish to more orange/reddish and the leaf count can vary quite a bit as well.

Hey Brad, I really struggled with the L Aromatica I got from APF a long time ago. It grew like yours, big leaves, but was never dense while other stem plants in the same tank where dense and healthy as can be.

When I got some L Aromatica mini from Joe, the difference was night and day. Whatever variety (like dennis said) APF carries, I don't think it's a great one. Not bad, just not great.
