Does anyone else periodically get burned out on tank maintenance?

This thread has me thinking of ideas as well. What about a decently flow power head? It could mount inside the tank and you could attach some type of cylinder to the input ( water bottle, peanut butter container, etc) and putting sponge/filter floss in it. Then tubing through the bottom that can be your vacuum? When you’re done you can unscrew it and dump the gunk, everything is in the tank so you don’t have to worry about leaks etc. I might fashion something here soon to play with.

This almost sounds like a surface skimmer, but for vacuuming? Sounds like a cool thing to figure out.
