They just ran out of something or otherwise became unhappy, macros probably. Seen this algae a million times, aggressively attached and feels slimy. You may have to pinch off the worst of it but it should self correct and disappear pretty fast

nitrate is at 0ppm eeek
I did a large water change 70% and front loaded NPK

Aloha everyone! My 110 tank is doing great, I don’t have a photo I’ll update that later.
I also redid my 20 long tank to mostly Eriocaulons and bo stems
Using Netlea augmented capped with Netlea about 1 year old
