Inspired by @gnatster 's Black Friday thread HERE. I'm curious what's on everyone's list this year. I need to come up with a list for the significant other aquarium or not. Not sure of much I want. I do want a small rectangle little tank to do a succulent garden and light like HERE, but I'm not sure which one to get. What are you asking for?

Well, not that I won't buy more things, but I already bought one...well, technically eight presents for myself. I've been growing less happy with my Chihiros dosers. Their consistency just hasn't been as good as I'd like and I've had a few connection issues with Chihiros lately. So having read comments here and other reviews online, I decided to make my first Alibaba purchase and picked up 8 Kamoer X1 Pro 2 dosing pumps. With my recent struggles on my new garden tank and dosing the separate macros and micros, I'm leaning toward sticking with an all-in-one fertilizer going forward and so will only need one pump per aquarium. The cost of the pumps on Alibaba, even with shipping and import fees still only came to about $63 each. I plan to recoup a good amount of that reselling all the Chihiros dosing gear.

I haven't been having the connection issues, but I've had two other issues.

1. The fluid in the tubes backs down the tubing between doses. So the first part of any dose is air. This makes the volume of the dose off. My tank did fine while on vacation, but it's making the nerd in me rage.

2. This one is weird. As a pharmacist, we see people all the time who say they're allergic to stuff like Valium because it makes them sleepy. I mean, to an extent, that's what it's supposed to do. It's a longer discussion but not for here. With the doser, since I wasn't dosing my tank, I was often not going in to the room for days at a time. I started to feel disconnected. It was great in a way because I didn't feel chained to it, and it was freeing, but on the other hand, I kept thinking I miss my tank and this isn't what I got into this for.

Yep, The doser on my garden tank was doing the same. I hadn't noticed it more than a couple times on other tanks, but I'm always a bit off between what the app says is left in the dosing containers and what is really in the containers. The calibrations always check OK though, so it's hard to have much trust in them anymore. I have several dosers and the accessory kits still brand new in boxes.

I always buy my own Xmas before Xmas that way I get what I actually want . This year its telling myself to stop buying stuff esp on blk Friday sales. No more tanks, not free or gifted, and no more free fish I don't need anything period!

Got any wood? What tanks u selling? dam u marketplace and your cheap prices 😆
