We are ScapeCrunch, the place where planted aquarium hobbyists come to build relationships and support each other. When you're tired of doom scrolling, you've found your home here.
I came across your forum today more or less by accident. Happy find I'd say! It's nice to see how new aquarium forums are still popping up every now and then, with all the changes social media have brought to the hobby. Hope we can get a nice community going here for years to come!
I currently have three tanks:
A 500 L (130 gal) community tank with only peaceful fish in it (goldfish, SAE, corydoras, black mollies etc);
A 300 L (80 gal) "prison colony" tank with a musk turtle and some fish with tougher personalities, so to speak, or that otherwise need to be separate from the main tank. Currently it has a medium-sized cichlid, a grumpy synodontis, more mollies and an unknown garra species (see profile pic) that I'm sure scientists one day will name Garra harassa...
And a 60 L (15 gal) shrimp tank which is my newest setup. Currently that tank is the only one with a significant number of live plants.
Everything is low tech and connected to a sump to simplify maintenance.
I've really grown to like shrimp! Someday I want to create a larger shrimp tank. But I'd have to do some switcheroo'ing with my current setups to make that happen.
