It's always fun to peruse a really nice aquarium store when traveling, or visit a public aquarium with a nice planted tank (like @RickyV big planted tank). But it can be hard find them.

So, what are your stores/aquariums that you would recommend?

This question came up because I recently stumbled across a decent store called Aquatic Gallery in St Pete florida. Small place, but a lot of nice plants, and a couch to lounge on while watching some happy discus in a tank.

The largest and most impressive public gallery in the world is probably Sumida Aquarium in Tokyo:

My personal favorite store/gallery is Green Aqua in Budapest, Hungary:

The birthplace of modern aquascaping and home to the most natural scapes, ADA Gallery Niigata, Japan:

A really small and cute but super detailed shop is Aquashop Wasabi in Kyoto, Japan:

Horizon Aquatics in Leaside, UK:

Aquarium Design Group in Texas is one of the best in the US:

To be honest, the US is woefully behind in terms of beautiful stores/public aquascaping galleries. We have a few, and it's getting more popular, but they simply just do not compare.

If you ever get the opportunity to visit any of these international galleries I listed above, it will blow your mind and change how you view aquascaping from a hobby to one of the highest forms of art.
