I have a small UNS 45U that was home to my red betta, Tony, for a couple of years. I recently lost him and didn’t know what to do with the tank. Losing a fish with that much personality was too hard and I wanted to go in a different direction. So … why not Least Killifish?
This new scape has been set up for a couple of months. I mostly used crypts from other tanks and some bits of manzanita wood. Frogbit and red root floaters. A Sicce Nano Pro 250 internal filter on its lowest setting. And a Netlea AT5S from Aqua Rocks that, while complete overkill, is also so beautiful. I added the fish last week and they seem to be doing well.
It’s a jumbly mess right now. I think I would like to slowly transition it to mostly native plants if I can figure out what would work at this scale and how to source them.
I really should get out my real camera for a decent photo but for now this will have to do. Thanks for looking.
