Hi all,

I recently got a second hand Kamoer F4 Pro dosing pump, but have some difficulty setting it up. The problem is the 'flow calibration'. Hopefully any of you has the same dosing pump and knows how to solve this issue.

As far as I can see, I installed all the hardware correctly and updated the firmware to the newest version. I replaced the in- and outlet hoses for new 3 (ID) - 5(OD) silicon hoses. Also did a factory reset in the app (two times already). The problem is when I calibrate a channel (already tried this with both channel 1 and 2), the calibration dose seems to high for the app to accept it. I tried both the 5 sec and 10 sec giving me accordingly a 10 and 20ml calibration dose. When I enter these doses, the app shows the message 'error setting parameter'.
When I filled in at 10 sec that it only 10ml (whereas it was 20ml), the calibration worked and saved successfully.

Edited later 11-10-26: I just tried the original hoses and the same problem occurs. Also get the exact same measures as with the new tubes

Do any of you know how to solve this?

I don't have one of these, but in case it helps - Do you know if the 3/5mm tubing is standard in the pump head?

I ask because my dosers have 2/4 in the pump head, and then accept 3/5 from the barb adapters.

2/4 would have roughly ~44% of the flow as 3/5 which would put you in range perhaps.

Couple of folks here use the F1, @HardeeParty @GreggZ, don't know if calibration is the same?

Hi all,

The problem is when I calibrate a channel (already tried this with both channel 1 and 2), the calibration dose seems to high for the app to accept it. I tried both the 5 sec and 10 sec giving me accordingly a 10 and 20ml calibration dose. When I enter these doses, the app shows the message 'error setting parameter'.
When I filled in at 10 sec that it only 10ml (whereas it was 20ml), the calibration worked and saved successfully.
My guess is that the calibration is simply out of range.

On mine if I run it for 10 seconds it's right about 10ml. So if your getting 20ml it's likely not expecting that.

Now as to why the high flow rate? I have no idea. But somehow that rate seems very high.

I am thinking the same, but I have no clue how that is possible. The weird thing is that the current 'speed' in the calibration menu is currently set to 50.0 ml/min on all my channels, which is the default setting/speed. But if you calculate the actual speed of mine then it comes to 120ml/min. (6 x 20ml).

Anyway, I'll let it know when I hear something from the manufacturer.

I haven’t used mine in a while. The app didn’t like to connect or function on anything but 2.4 GHz and my router wouldn’t let me establish at that frequency. I’ve since replaced the router but haven’t hooked the dosing pump back up yet. Thanks for the reminder

Well the mystery is solved. As mentioned, I bought this dosing machine second hand and turns out the seller gave me the wrong power supply..
I didn't check it closely enough. There was a 24V 2A (50/60Hz) on and this machine needs a 12V 2A (50/60Hz) power supply. Found out after some troubleshooting with the manufacturer, very good service btw. Ordered a new (generic) one, calibrated the machine and working properly now. (It is insanely accurate, very happy with it!)

Thank you all for helping to figure this out!
