Curious to know if this is a long term fix or not. I have had similar success with API algae fix with long thread algae, likely spirogyra sp; which i found was not related to transitional stress once established.
But the fuzz algae that you showed, seems to be a marker of transitional stress. Someone else mentioned it earlier and Dennis states it repeatedly in all his 2Hr aquarist post. Would be interested to see if this helps you get over this long term without the traditional stablize-uproot-cut-replant cycle.

I addition to the advice of others, I'd try going for EI for a bit and see what happens to you plant growth. You current dosing is about 50%ish full EI dosing. Maybe try gently increasing dosages over some time and see if that helps.
Someone mentioned circulation as well, just double check you're getting enough there. Pretty chunky tank so...
Personally I'd up the ferts especially PK and micros to full EI levels. N I'm not so worried about as livestock can take care of that. But monitor nitrates and see how you go.

What was your final dose on this?
I think the conversion there has been messed up. Genuinely interested for future as I have used gluteraldehyde in the past and I think that is a typo. Did you dose and then leave for 2 weeks before a massive water change?

Oh no that is not good idea for me. I recently ordered professional water analysis. My NO3 level was 50 and K 42ppm! And only after this I understood why some of my plants are twisted, probably because of high K they can absorb Ca and MG.
I was 4x of recommended dose on daily basis and was doing weekly water change, around 50%. I think after 14-16 days all thread algae gone, the main thing dont do spot dosing on the plants, they will melt. Just drop 4x dose in water.
