Hey all, wondering if anyone has used a dimmer with a hygger max pro 100watt light.

I have it on my 2ft cube, but think it is just a bit too bright. Already set it at the greatest possible height.

Here's a pic of the tank for fun.

The LEDs in a light fixture have to be on a dimmable driver to be able to support an aftermarket dimmer.

The specs and manual don't seem to identify these LEDs as dimmable 🤔 youll want to send an email to Hygger support to ask.

Update. I emailed Hygger, who got back to me immediately:

"This HG132 hygger pro plant light is set to full spectrum, fixed brightness, and is not equipped with a dimmer. Besides, we have checked with our product team, and unfortunately, even if you purchase a separate dimmer switch, it will not be possible to adjust the brightness of the lights. Your understanding will be greatly appreciated.

However, it is extremely bright and has a suitable spectrum, which can effectively promote the growth of aquatic plants. It is very suitable for aquatic plants."
