For those of you who don't know Xiaozhuang "Dennis" Wong (@Dennis Wong), he is the founder of the 2Hr Aquarist website that is a true gem for our hobby. I started following Dennis when he was putting up YouTube videos on shaping plant bushes, which was a thing back-in-the-day. He has since become MUCH more professional in his content producing and has turned his hobby into a commercial venture that straddles the delicate balance between for-profit enterprise and being hobbyist-led.

What I think we can all agree on is that Dennis is a tireless supporter of our hobby. He generously gives of his time almost everywhere and we are lucky he is a frequent participant here on ScapeCrunch. He's also producing excellent products that we can all benefit from.

Please join me in thanking @Dennis Wong for everything he does here and everywhere to support our hobby and community! ❤️

Oh, and if you have an iPhone, be sure to go get yourself some of their limited edition wallpapers and show your plant side proudly!

Thank you @Dennis Wong !

It is no exaggeration to say that you have single-handedly made growing tanks full of astonishing, flourishing plants possible, for all of us who never thought we could get there!

Thank you!!

Before joining Scapecrunch, I was seeing these beautiful scapes by Xiaozhuang Wong on FB and asking him for plant lists 😀. Took awhile for me to realize it was The 2HR Aquarist. When I then came here and saw "Dennis" Wong, one look at his photos and I knew Dennis and Xioazhuang were one and the same. The website is a great wealth of knowledge and I'm still reading and learning. Thanks Dennis!

There is only 1 thing wrong with the 2 hr Aquarist articles. You really have to read each article multiple times. There is so much packed into them I find even re reading it 4-5 times I am mining more information I didnt pick up on with prior readings. And I dont want it changed…. I must make a mental note to revisit it.

I probably post links to 2 hr Aquarist articles 10 times more often than any other sites articles…

When I do a google search on an aquarium topic and it pulls up a 2 hr aquarist article it is the first page I visit…

Without question, it is my single most valued resource on the web for planted tank info.

Singlehandedly it is more responsible for my learning how to grow healthy plants than any other factor…

oh you guys are so sweet, thank you ~
and also thank you guys for being part of the participative forum crowd. many folks read and learn from such pages even if they don't actively participate
