I'm very happy to announce that ScapeCrunch has become an affiliate partner of The 2Hr Aquarist. This is an important step in our mission to expand the planted aquarium hobby and I could not be more delighted.

As many of you know, The 2Hr Aquarist was started by our friend @Dennis Wong in 2019. Since then, along with his fantastic and informative website, he's launched a science-backed line of products for planted aquariums. The APT (Advanced Planted Tank) line has been helping aquarists from around the world to grow plants that are thriving like the ones you see above.

I chose The 2Hr Aquarist as our first partner because we share very similar values and a mission to grow, together. Here are their principles:

Better Everyday

We are closely connected to the pulse of the global planted community, and constantly improving. If the finer details of our products or instructions seem different from the last time you encountered them, it is because we are not standing still.

Professional

While we are a young company, our diverse team has over 20 years of combined experience in product development, international sales and distribution, marketing and branding, drawn from stints across Fortune 500 MNCs. We pride ourselves in thinking big, acting small and moving fast.

Grow Together

We believe in growth through sharing and collaboration. That is why we operate the world’s most comprehensive resource on the planted aquarium, which started even before we launched our first product. We continue to develop this free resource.

Over the next few weeks, you will see more about APT and The 2Hr Aquarist here on ScapeCrunch. Our goal is to help promote the good work they are doing and to increase the availability of their products. To support our community, they have agreed to provide our community with a 10% discount when you use the discount code "scapecrunch" at checkout. ScapeCrunch will receive a small commission from your purchases that will go 100% to offset the costs of keeping ScapeCrunch free and available to everyone.

In closing, while I know many of you "roll your own" fertilizers for your aquariums (I did too, but switched to APT), please consider supporting a company that was created by a fellow aquarist that has given so much back to the community. We need to support commercial ventures that are supporting the hobby and also our community.

affiliate.pngScapeCrunch will proudly sport The 2Hr Aquarist Affiliate Partner badge. If you haven't explored their line of products, I encourage you to take some time and educate yourself on them. It's an impressive line.

Also, while you're there, read through their mountains of planted aquarium information. It's great stuff!

THANK YOU ❤️ for being such an important member of ScapeCrunch. Let's keep growing together!

One important note: This site will NOT become a giant billboard. We are working closely with each partner so that we design a campaign that fits with our community without being in your face or annoying.

Already tried his Fixlite and it’s a nice product! Worked really well on my Anubias with no I’ll effects.

Tanks is going OK. I will update my build thread with a recent picture and expand on what's going on.
