We are so grateful to the experienced and generous judges that served as the GSAC 2023 judges panel this year. Without their patient review and caring critiques, this contest wouldn't have happened.

Here are the judges along with a brief description of who they are.

Xiaozhuang "Dennis" Wong - @Dennis Wong

Dennis Wong is the founder of 2hr Aquarist. He is well known in the aquatic plant world for his colorful dutch style tanks and for popularizing rare and difficult to grow aquatic plant species such as Hygrophila sp. Chai and the red Eriocaulon quinquangulare.

His website 2hraquarist.com contains detailed information on maintaining and growing aquatic plants with a focus on growing colorful plants and solving algae issues.

Dennis has also been a judge for other aquascaping competitions, such as the well known AGA Aquascaping competition and Aquajaya. He consults for the local zoo on aquatic plant matters and also writes for well known Aquatic plant magazines such as The Aquatic Gardener and Aquarium hobbyist magazine.

Dennis lives in Singapore.

Marian Sterian is an aquatic plants lover from Romania, who has been in the hobby for 17 years, a collector of the most spectacular varieties, very passionate about aquaristics and at the same time a perfectionist.

He is the founder of www.masterline.ro.

Gregg has been involved with the aquarium hobby, especially keeping rainbow fish, for four decades. He is also a long time aquatic plant hobbyists and his tank is known throughout the Internet as a beautiful example of garden style.
