This is my first post in this forum,
I need help on identifying this algae been constantly spawning in my tank, This tank has been running just for a month.
There's not much other types of algae bloom except for this one.
Thanks to any suggestion.
High tech with co2 at 40ppm roughly
At first I was assuming this is staghorn, but some of the string grows to 4-5 inches long, does not branch at all, and when treated with apt fix it did not turn red/white at all, just straight melt away.
My second guess is cladophora algae, they look exactly same on the string, but from my experience cladophora been grow dense, but this one grow way loose.
It's appear more green in person, just like hair but not soft/slimy like hair algae does.
