One of my other pastimes is working with bonsai, and a recent blog post I came across shows a very large bonsai creation that is reminiscent of many aquaecapes I see. I thought the members here might be interested:

I did a bonsai scape a few yrs ago and well lets just say it was very beautiful and cool looking but to actually get in the tank not so much. It became a huge hassle trying to even clean the glass and even do water changes. I see why we only see this style with moss everywhere.
Side note I had a Acer palmatum (Japanese Red Maple) Bonsai for several years until the cat used it as a bathroom.
