Hopefully @Dennis Wong will respond, but perhaps others here can answer as well.
Up to now, I've been using Seachem Equilibrium for RO remineralization. I had forgotten, I purchased a large bag of APT Sky some time ago and decided to start using it instead. When reading instructions I see that it says to add 15ml per 60l
. Not expecting measurement for a powder to be in volume units instead of weight units. I'm guessing 15ml is about 8 grams, but has anyone else done a proper conversion? I'm wanting to mark the container I transferred it to with grams per gallon.
2nd question: The base Sky ingredients don't contain potassium. Without going into the detail of PPM of everything for my tanks, if I'm dosing daily with APT 3 to the max levels calculated on the 2hr Aquarist dosing calculator for each of my tanks, is it safe to assume I'm getting sufficient potassium without additional supplements. I ask, of course, because the Equilibrium included potassium and I don't want to purchase a bag of Sky Plus when I have enough of the Sky to last quite awhile.
P.S. for Dennis: I love the simple elegant look of the APT bottles...but please put the name of each product in small text on the back or something. Some of these liquids are the same color, so once out of their bagged or boxed packaging, it's easy to forget what's what.
