I removed the manzanita wood piece from my tank today and planted the buce that were attached to it into the substrate.

FISH UPDATE:
15 strawberry rasboras
8 golden white cloud minnows
7 Cardinal tetras
5 Red pencilfish
7 pygmy corydoras

On paper it seems like a lot of fish, which it is, but not a huge bioload. I may remove the rasboras when my second tank is set up in the near future. Building a stand for it now, although I don't have the tank yet. It will be a 60 Tall which holds 30 gallons.

I made the mistake of not using a quarantine tank when I brought home the cardinal tetras. Lesson learned the hard way! I've been battling fin and tail rot that spread to all species. Treated with full 3 dose treatment of Kanaplex. No harm done to plants or beneficial bacteria colony. Fish are healing and fins/tails are growing back.

On a side note, Pygmy corys laid some eggs and I was able to hatch out 2 babies.

Plants are filling in nicely. I like the layout without the wood, although I love that piece of manzanita! It took up a lot of room and caused a lot of shading. Here's the current layout.

Haha I wish! Thank you, though. This made me chuckle…! 😂

I'm just trying to copy what the legends do and pick up little gold nuggets of information from great minds on here such as yourself. I've learned so much on here and learning all the time.

Currently, I have too many plant species in my tank for them all to have enough room. What better way to keep them all happy than to get another tank?

So that's what I did! This is an interesting size. Landen 60 tall, 30 gallon, 60cm x 45cm x 45cm. I just completed the stand build and got the tank yesterday. Stand is 3/4" plywood, identical to my 90p stand. Espresso stained and satin polyurethane finish.

Yugang reactor built and ready to go. Made with 2" clear body and 1" bypass. ALMOST had it finished with no couplings (f*"@ ups) but there is no forgiveness with PVC glue!

Still have to leak test reactor and tank. First tank to arrive had 1 whole side of glass flopping in the breeze, silicone seals completely damaged due to shoddy delivery from Amazon.

90p is getting a big trim tomorrow.

I am running two Oase biomaster filters in this tank. A 600 and a 350. Overkill, I know, but both are throttled down quite a bit. I'm debating on wether I should try to save some money and move the 350 to the new 30 gallon tank, but things are running smooth the way they are. I'm leary of changing the flow, to be honest. I guess I could move the 350 too be tech, try it for a week and see what happens.

I just love this tank. Wish it was in my house, I'd never stop looking. Perfect balance of density, color, texture, etc.

I REALLY like how your Hygro 53b is trimmed to be a midground plant. I didn't think of that! Looks excellent.
Thank you @Naturescapes_Rocco
I appreciate the compliment!

Curious what you're using as end caps on your reactor?
