Sounds good. Where you have your secondary outlet is how I have my soul outlet configured now, from the back left, pointing to the front/centre.
Pushing the second one along the back I guess would complete the loop. Until I get the new system in place, i should move the wave maker i currently have on the right also pointing to the front to flow along the back. That would make more sense then what I have currently lol.

Quick question as I am in the process of trying to assemble a DIY reactor and the thought crossed my mind.

If I have a reactor setup in overflow mode (purge a bubble every minute-ish when running), there isn't a minimum volume needed for the air pocket inside the pipe, as long as there is one, correct? I know there is limitations with fittings and what not so there will be some minimum bubble present in this modes equilibrium, just didn't know if there was other regular air outgassing shenanigans going on, or if just after its in steady state post turning on it doesn't matter.

We mostly focus on maximum air pocket size relative to tank's footprint size. Over time, your pocket gasses will reach an equilibrium throughout the day and night, where it's mostly CO2 and some other gasses. During the early hours of injection, the pocket might be minimal, or none at all -- as CO2 is added, most of it gets absorbed each minute, so the pocket only grows slowly. But by the end of the CO2 injection period, your pocket would be the largest possible size, overflowing every few seconds or minutes.

So no, technically there isn't a minimum pocket size needed, as long as your maximum is where you want it.
