I added some emersed grown limnophila aromatica two days and they are immediately aggressively melting. I am surprised by this because I've read they're supposed to be a relatively easy plant.
The melt includes some sections of the stem on a few of the plants, however none appear to be melting from the bottom up so far. Is it worth pinching off the nodes that are melting, and leaving the bases in the substrate to see if they will recover and produce submerged leaves? Or is it best to cut my losses and pull them all out before the organics trigger algae?
