Growing in a new tank with just APT Feast aquasoil and no water column dosing.

An European affiliate ran this test where he just used APT Feast aquasoil and remineralized RO water (Ca/Mg), and no other additives.
This is his results after 31 days. (skopje_aquascaping in Instagram).

Not use if I would recommend starting a tank with no water column dosing (I generally recommend folks to start water column dosing once they have plants), but in this scenario it seems to work well with minimal algae and smooth grow in.

Apparently he did not? I think he just did big water changes

I am not surprised by this at all. My plants had some of the most amazing growth the first few weeks after dark start. I didn’t think APT zero was really necessary at that point. The water change schedule should be brutal though. Curious to see if this person tests parameters and what his ammonia level is
