I just swapped my substrate to aqua soil. I left about an 8th inch layer of my old sand and the media has been cycled for a while now. Should I plant now or wait for the potential ammonia spike to pass?

I would plant now and manage with water changes.
How much ammonia does it take to bother the plants?
