Journal Waterbox 20g AIO Planted Tank

I have three platys, but they are all female (suppose to be at least.)
Ha! Good luck with that. I thought all I had was females. I then ended up giving away a few dozen and only had 2 left, which I also thought were both female. I now have a bunch more to give away. I don't know why the phrase "breed like rabbits" ever came to be. "Breed like Platys" would have been far more accurate.

Nice! It thinks that Hygro is lovely too.

I just got a little Emerald Rasbora crew and they seem to be constantly on the hunt. I got them over CPDs thinking they’d be less likely to snack on baby shrimp. Not feeling like that is the case now!
I had the emerald rasboras from a previous little tank. I wasn’t sure if I wanted a few more or go with the CPDs. Google AI said they would inhabit different areas of the tank and it was right. My EDRs stay under the plant canopy most of the day and come out around feeding time. The CPDs swim more freely in the open spaces of the tank with my platys. Both are neat little fish, but I think I like the markings of the EDRs more. They look like little tiger sharks to me!

To me the ONLY disadvantage is you are limited to the black background
Me too. So I am going to try installing a thing piece of acrylic to the back wall when I set it back up. I found a nice sky blue one that is opaque.

I don't like it either. I found putting cork across the background seems to give more sense of depth because of the texture.. And you can pin anubias to it 💯💯👍
