Recently on my journal I stated I was getting a new stand and would be transferring my current tank over until I could get a rimless setup. Well, not being able to always read my wife’s mind, that was NOT her plan. She stressed she didn’t want my current “mess” just transferred to the new stand. The other issue was that this new stand she picked out, was going to be a trying time getting the sump setup and not look like an eyesore, requiring customization she was not budging on. So, not wanting to go the filter route and still having a “sump”, I introduced her to AIO tanks and she’s now all in.

Behold, my potential future tank!

Anyone have any experience with tideline aquariums? I found some reviews from reefers that were favorable, and I’m excited to potentially bite the bullet and start a new build.

Apparently they have an non-standard baffle system in the back, to be aware of

Brand and model are def very popular on Reef2Reef 👍

Several LFSs in the KC area carry Planet Aquarium tanks including the Tideline series. From what I've seen inspecting them, the Tidelines look ok, but some of their other series drop off in build quality and are like a mid-tier between budget rimmed tanks and higher end rimless. Several tanks I looked at had misaligned edges and poor silicone workmanship. The Tidelines looked better but I only looked at smaller sizes of those.
