Journal 15G-"Plentiful drops"

Hello all,

Things are going along with new growth visible from all of the plants. I have increased the light duration to 7h. I have a question regarding the Echinodorus sp. Red Devil. The images I find online have straight or almost straight leaves, the new ones in mine come up twisted and rather narrow. The old (emersed) leaves do not seem to develop any damage.

I don't see a similar issue in other plants so I would greatly appreciate your input.

Regards
Nick

The sword would probably benefit from a root tab or two. I notice some bba along the very edges of some of the maturer leaves as well, so its not entirely happy

Idk if Osmocote Plus is available over there but it works great and is considerably cheaper than aquarium brand tabs. Id put something like 7-8 individual balls around it. (dont use any other terrestrial products like Job Spikes etc. they can do weird things, Osmocote Plus is the only one that I know of you can be sure of )

Thanks for the suggestion. Yes we have Osmocote here, I'll stop by the garden center and see if I can find a small enough bag for my needs. Could it be that the root system is also adapting? ...it's only been there for about 2 weeks
