You got $500 big ones, Dollars, Euros, whatever your local currency is. What are you buying with it?

Let’s be creative and careful with this. Don’t just go out and buy the latest LED. Get creative. How will you spend this free money???

I would buy a pH probe/controller with data logging, so that CO2 experiments could be less time consuming. One pH profile takes a day, and it would be very nice to have that automated.

Probably a UV sterilizer. I like to do as much as possible to keep my water looking crystal clear. As of now my water clarity is pretty good, but I am sure it can be even better.

Plywood to build a new cabinet for a spare 60 gallon tank that might end up being an attempt at a planted goldfish tank. at least until they get to big and need to be in a pond

or a 300 gallon rubber maid tote for my 20 yr old red ear slider. I have a spare 150 gallon rubber maid tote I can probably convert into a filter or something or the 2 50 gallon rubber maid trash cans

ATOs and autodosers for all! 💯💯

MTS means $500 doesn't go so far.. 😁
