So who's watching the World Cup??

Been a bit strange so far in terms of teams I expected to be powerhouses really not showing up. Pandemic effect??

Let's keep the discussion on the sport and let's leave the politics with the pundits that make a living off of that.

That was definitely a nerve wracking game against Iran with the one goal lead, especially with so much stoppage time. That 2nd goal (off-sides?) would have been nice.

It's been a crazy World Cup so far. Some of the greats are out and others have really struggled. Japan is a surprise as is South Korea.

It's good to see dynasties being challenged though. I would have liked my Italy to have made it but they have a lot of fixing to do. However, I will be enjoying Argentina, Spain and Brazil play.

I'm hoping this continues to light some interest in US sports fans. Although a work colleague just told me that he tried to watch it but was utterly bored with the low (or no) scoring. We'll see. At least Messi may be coming to Miami so that will certainly get some press.

What a crazy World Cup this has been!

Congratulations to Croatia and now Morocco for moving knocking out powerhouses, Brazil and Portugal, to get to the semi-finals. Wow!

Well, here we go!

I will be offline for the next 90 minutes to watch the World Cup with my team - Argentina - and Messi playing his last World Cup. This will entail me hugging some sort of cushion and writhing with anxiety at being ultimately elated or completely crushed. I love this game!

It was a cardiac-maker but it's so sweet to win in the end. Thanks Ayman!
