I've been keep aquariums for about 45 years but have recently semi-retired (I'm an author and college professor) so am now devoting a lot more attention to the hobby. I currently have a nano tank for a betta that was getting bullied in my 29 gallon community tank, a 39 gallon mbuna tank, and am cycling a UNS 120U that will be my first discus tank. With so much free time, I've also dived into aquascaping and planted tanks.
