Hello ScapeCrunch & thanks for the registration!
I am writing to you from Stuttgart, Germany. Actually i just woke up from a little afternoon holiday nap, now sitting on my bed with a cup of coffee to the right, in the ear the sound of the tank in the next room, a splish splash, indicating a lot of evaporation the last couple of days…refill nenessary. ok, why did i register here - Fishkeeping with plants was intruced to me during childhood in the mid 80s by my mother. Then there was a longer pause. A couple of years ago my younger sister "forced" me to take her 80p, including stock, and restart the hobby. So actually im again into it. Or better, again new to it. We have a nice german forum for planted tanks here, but i always like to read more and see what people do in other parts of the world, preferably in forums over other social media.
The coffee is empty now
Atm I have 3 water containers running, so a pic of each to complete the short intro . a: 200l in the living room, low light, sand as substrate, tap water only, low filtration/flow, trying to keep changes of the system at a minimum, for the sake of the fish and the family. b: 240l in the home office room, higher light, CO2 injected, AS substrate, RO, higher flow and filtration. This is where the scape is crunched more so often
and c: a 40l medaka bowl on the balkony.
Hi & thanks again!
