Welcome to ScapeCrunch, @Ernesto!
We would love to get to know you. Please tell us about yourself. What tank do you have?

Hello ScapeCrunch & thanks for the registration!
I am writing to you from Stuttgart, Germany. Actually i just woke up from a little afternoon holiday nap, now sitting on my bed with a cup of coffee to the right, in the ear the sound of the tank in the next room, a splish splash, indicating a lot of evaporation the last couple of days…refill nenessary. ok, why did i register here - Fishkeeping with plants was intruced to me during childhood in the mid 80s by my mother. Then there was a longer pause. A couple of years ago my younger sister "forced" me to take her 80p, including stock, and restart the hobby. So actually im again into it. Or better, again new to it. We have a nice german forum for planted tanks here, but i always like to read more and see what people do in other parts of the world, preferably in forums over other social media.
The coffee is empty now :)
Atm I have 3 water containers running, so a pic of each to complete the short intro . a: 200l in the living room, low light, sand as substrate, tap water only, low filtration/flow, trying to keep changes of the system at a minimum, for the sake of the fish and the family. b: 240l in the home office room, higher light, CO2 injected, AS substrate, RO, higher flow and filtration. This is where the scape is crunched more so often :) and c: a 40l medaka bowl on the balkony.
Hi & thanks again!

Welcome!! Thanks for joining our growing community.

Great looking tanks and I wish I had a sister who would force me to take her 80p too!

I'm assuming you mean the Flowgrow forum. I'm very happy you're here because those of us who don't read German would love to see what is being discussed there. Germany has had beautiful planted aquariums for a long time and I am also interested to see what techniques are currently being used.

Actually the Flowgrow forum Pages translate very well if you use the Firefox browser translate option!
