ADG is amazing. I will admit I cannot compare it to a lot of aquarium stores as I'm generally limited to what I'm able to visit in my local area, ADG has been on my radar for a few years. Finally had the opportunity to make the 4hr drive and it was well worth it. The gallery is amazing, the hardscape selection is 2nd to none that I've been too. Every member of the staff I encountered greeted me and customer service was outstanding. Both Jeff & Andrew were on site and also welcomed me. Jeff took the time out of his day to talk with me for the better part of an hour. Fantastic gallery & store!

I don't know how many people know, but the Senske brothers have been in the planted aquarium hobby from the its very beginnings in the USA. I interviewed Mike Senske on the ScapeFu Podcast episode 4 in case you want to learn more about him and ADG. They also wrote a book called The Inspired Aquarium which I highly recommend, even just for the eye-candy.

They are true pioneers in the US hobby and I'm glad they continue to grow and expand. Both Mike and Jeff are also very accomplished aquascapers. Here is a picture of Mike with George Farmer that I took at the 2015 AGA Convention in Fort Lauderdale. It was the Iron Aquascaper competition between them.
