The Shrimp Version of Catnip

I occasionally like to treat the shrimp in my 3 active tanks with something special even though they generally have plenty to munch on without any additions from me. I've tried various things from the LFS, ordered a few "Shrimp Lollies"online, and blanched some veggies, but I've now found the ultimate treat that drives them crazy; Lowkeys Ultra Supple (Made in Japan).

I read an article testing a number of different shrimp foods and this came out on top. It seems rather hard to come by in the US, but there is a seller on ebay (Dansaquamaze). Not cheap at $18 for a 30g pack, but like I said, it's just an occasional treat.

Found another food that brought a horde of shrimp out on reddit AquaSwap. Some of you, @BenB, are aware that I have a predilection for shrimp and providing them a varied diet. They probably eat better than I do. The Pea and Veggie biscuits are a hit. The Corys are going gaga over the Pumpkin Pie. No affiliation with the seller, just a satisfied customer.

I'm waffling on getting shrimp . I really want some, but not just reds, but I don't want them to devolve back to brown.
Also, I want to cure the algae once and for all before I add another level of care/need to my tank.

I dug back through my old APC threads, searched my email archives, and conducted a search. The terms "Pumpkin, Crisp, Snail, Shrimp, Food" are too familiar to filter into something useful. My GoogleFu has failed me.

Soy hulls, spirulina and bee pollen mixed w a tiny bit of agar is a bit hit for my shrimp. They also love shrimp envy complete
