I just hung up 3x AT6 Pro on my 180. Messing around with the app and trying to figure out how to schedule my lighting time.
I like to start at 4pm and have them on till 2am. The app is stressing about the stretch over midnight, saying the end can't be before the start. I'm sure I'm missing something obvious but figured I'd ask. (Yeah, I'm a night owl, and I like my lights on when I'm home and sitting by the tank.)

My first impression is the app kinda blows. If you find a work around, let me know.

Same. Can’t assign more than 1 light to a tank. Can’t set the clock to fiddle with my issue. Can’t do an “overnight” schedule. 😡
Guess I’m back to the WiFi power switch to handle that.

I was able to combine my lights to one group.

How are thoughts a little later now on this light? I am considering suggesting getting these lights for the Build Thread - 1000 Gallon High Tech Planted Tank I take care of. I want to take the tank to the next level with some nice RGB lights. The fluval 3.0 aren't terrible but they're not great either.20240610_160916.jpg
This tank is 8 foot x 4 foot x 4 foot. I would need to get 6 of the lights.

Sounds like the actual lights are really good, just not the app? Anyone have any other issues with them? Have they failed on anyone? 6 lights are a big expense for the tank owner so I want to make sure I am suggesting something worthwhile.

After spending some time with them, the app is good enough. I freaking love these lights. They are very different from my WA Pandora’s, but better visually IMO. It’s hard to explain. The WA does a bit better in reds, but the Netlea makes reds look more deep red if that makes any sense. Pinks look incredible under the Netlea and greens look richer.

Now that I figured out how to deal with the app the lights are running when I want and look great. I prefer a cooler white and they do that well.
I have 3 on my 180, which is more than enough. It’s an algae factory in the new build but that’s fine. I’m soon to place fish in there that need the surface slime and algae.

6 lights are a big expense for the tank owner

If the tank owners want an option for another interim step rather than jumping all the way to high end lights, six of these are currently on sale for 1/3 the cost of six of the AT6 Pros.

They're mid-range, about 2x as powerful as the Fluval 3.0 you have there now in terms of the PAR they push over an equivalent distance. I actually replaced a Fluval 3.0 with one of these, and the Photone PAR measurements are just over double 👍 Also the LED beam angle appears to be wider, so the spread is better than the Fluval 3.0.

Thanks for the information guys! I got my request for these approved and they are now on the way! I am very excited to see this tank lit under some quality lights! Will update once I receive them.

I just finished setting up the lights. And wow the tank looks incredible now! I've been getting a lot of compliments and the owner really liked them. Plants are also pearling now! I will post pictures later. Still figuring out what settings look best. Curious what settings does everyone here run? This is what i have so far.Screenshot_20240617_160005_Netlea.jpg
But yeah I can see what everyone was saying about the app. Every time I go check on my settings they change and I have to keep messing with them. I added my settings to a process but when I click submit the spectrum changes to something else. It's very confusing. Anyone else experience this? Or can share some information or a tutorial on how the app works? Also is there a way to add sunrise/sunset?

The White setting looks good enough until you want to actually fiddle with the RGB for a while. Take a screenshot once you get what you want IMG_0251.pngsee what you think of this.

This is how I have mines set up
Oh cool I didn't realize I could run multiple processes. I guess that could be a way to somewhat create a sunrise/sunset? I was looking at the mingel mode and it looks like that does that. Unfortunately it doesn't look like I can adjust the spectrum for it though. I mostly just didn't want to spook the fish too much with very bright lights coming on and off all of a sudden.

Anyone know why there is a new app on the Google play store? I went to check for an update but it says install. So did they remove the old app and add a new one?

Yeah looks like they took down the old one. New one has a new UI. Whether it works better than the old one idk.

Their website Garberwey:The Fast Delivery Aquarium products Supplier and support email garberwey@hotmail.com was also listed on the old version in app store.

Think the old app 2.1.657 and lower can work on older lights like their 5 series. Think Im gonna keep it for awhile and find a way to back up the apk if possible.

edit: to back up an app on your android device:
Files app (by google) -> Apps -> Installed Apps -> hit the 3 dots next to Netlea -> Share -> Google Drive

I messaged aquarocks colorado asking if they recommend installing it yet, and this is their response: "Not yet, still buggy. It will be fix soon. Wait until the IOS version release then you can upgrade." I am curious if the new app is just UI changes or if it added any new functionality. I've really been wanting sunrise/sunset feature.

Is the older app version available somewhere? Got a new phone and the new app is in Chinese.
