Plant Trimming Maintenance

Hey All,

Just curios, when trimming my plants I notice that when I cut the stems air bubbles come out? Only for a min it so, maybe this is part of pearling, which i notice often in my tank.

Must be from the Co2 I am supplying.

That’s normal. It’s gas releasing rapid ally from the plants photosynthesizing or respiring. It’s o2, co2, and ethylene

Yep as Frank said it's normal. Funny thing is that some people will swear it's pearling. It's not. Can happen in non CO2 tanks when a stem is cut.
