The staff has been discussing whether the community would want to have plant-specific threads that would consolidate plant-specific pictures with data from the community.
For example, we could have a forum entitled Plant Database. Therein, there would be a plant-specific thread such as Staurogyne repens.
We would all “contribute” a post (if you have Staurogyne repens) with a picture of our plant. Of course, we would add how we are keeping it - parameters, trimming, anything related to keeping and growing the plant. Questions and answers on the plant would also be posted here.
At the top of the thread would be a carousel of the pictures from that thread showing all the pictures of the plant. Throughout ScapeCrunch, any time someone posted the words Staurogyne repens, they would automatically link to the plant-specific thread. This would apply except for @Burr740’s forum that would obviously link over to his shop.
Also, our Media Gallery will have an album that captures all the pictures from the thread into a specific album (Plant Database) so we can all see pictures of the plant.
Does the community think this would be helpful?
