Photo of the Month Contest - August 2023 - Top Down Shots!

I'm very happy to report that we are re-starting our Photo of the Month (POTM) contests starting with the month of August.

Please submit your best Top Down shots! Voting will commence on August 21 and will run through August 31 when a winner will be chosen from the ratings.

The winner gets the swanky Photo of the Month Winner banner under their name and unlimited bragging rights!

Here's what the banner looks like. @GreggZ is sporting it.



This is a friendly contest so no judgements on pictures! We are friends and full circle of trust rules apply.

Here’s my best while trying to minimize the reflection from the LEDs.

Old iteration of my Dutch tank when I first got the T5’s I liked. Really liked this shot, dirty cross brace, duckweed and all. Well maybe not the duckweed…

Couple of not-contest-worthy top down shots during todays maintenance. Trying to figure out how to keep some weeping moss in the back right without losing so much real estate in the tank.

This tank has been running for 13 months now! After 4 months from setup decided to turn off the CO2 - seems like a good decision in terms of maintenance. There is a lot of going on above the water too, but that is for a new thread. For now just a sneak peek.
