Overnight PH Drop

What's your non degassed pH drop range. So what is your pH before CO2 turns on then what is the lowest pH you reach. Looking to see what others get.

I get a .6 to .7 from from overnight max pH to max drop.

I'm at about a 1.4 pH drop daily. I check using a pH meter. I'm using an inline CO2 diffuser on the return pump.

Not your question, but just curious what is the point of checking pH if you can just use Hanna co2 kit and get the ppm ? is it more for auto shut off ?

Before I got the Hanna test, I was just wondering what others were seeing in their tanks.

For me, the pH drop is an easy way to make sure I'm delivering plenty of CO2 to the tank without needing to purchase and use a test kit or meter. The pH drop plus observing the plants and fish is probably a better measure than the CO2 test kit because it tells you what is right for your aquarium rather than just a number.
