Does anyone have any tips or instructions on how to tie moss well to hardscape? I've tried it a million times and I can NEVER get the thread to stay tight all the way around. It always comes loose or unravels somewhere. Tons of videos online of people tying moss to hardscape but none with detailed instructions on what knots to use etc. I've tried gluing moss but I am not satisfied with the results when gluing.

Start at one end and leave about 6 inches of extra length. Give it a quick, light wrap all the way to the opposite end—just enough to hold the moss in place. Then reverse direction and wind tightly back to where you started. Use the extra length you left at the beginning to tie a secure knot or three. I show this in my videos—I think. Also do it out of the tank if possible.
