I need a moss wall substitute. I've used several mosses in the past and they do well, but over time I'm picking free floating pieces out of the substrate and various places. It quickly becomes a disease and a point of unneeded stress. I'm trying Trident mini now and as usual, I can't grow it. I've seem people use Buce and I'm hoping there is a faster growing option out there. Any suggestion? Hopefully something green and won't take a year to grow a single leaf .

Thanks for any insight.

A fast grower that takes well to the “mat” way of growing is hydrocotyle tripartita. Beautiful clovers and grows fast once established
Ha! I have that in my tank. It will grow vertically just fine?
